Hi I'm Morris F.

I've been a Mormon all of my lifetime. Grew up on a Farm in Colorado.

About Me

I've been married for over 40 years to my lovely wife. We have 6 children and have lived in the same home for most of that time. I'm semi retired and do consulting work and web design. I've spent over 25 years in the Tourism and RV Business. I've been a member of the church all of my life and have served in many capacities. I enjoy working at the church cannery, providing food for the needy.

Why I am a Mormon

For many years I was a Mormon because I was born into the church, but as live provides you with experience, you find that that is not a secure enough reason to belong. We find that without faith our membership is hollow and bears little weight. Each time I hold a grandchild in my arms and remember that we will be together forever, I'm reminded why I am a Mormon. Each time my wife and I have peaceful moments together and feel that assurance of an eternal existance I'm reminded whay I am a Mormon. Having faith in Jesus Christ to get me through life's trials is a great assurance of why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Sometimes we feel inadequate because there are so many opportunities to serve and it is impossible to do everything. I've come to realize that by doing those things which I love to do, I can live my faith. By teaching a class and sharing my testimony and by learning from those I teach. I enjoy helping people in need and especially love working in church programs that assist the needy. I do the Sundy bulletin for our meetings and as simple a project as that sounds, I find a great deal of joy by doing my best. I feel that the secret is in doing my best, I am living my faith to the best of my ability.
