Hi I'm Todd

I'm a student, a scientific researcher, a pianist, a singer, a dancer and a waterskier, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was really young, I've wanted to try to learn everything that I can. Now as an undergraduate, I've found a passion for doing scientific research and still enjoy trying to learn it all, whether it's biochemistry, physiology, or maybe even biblical Greek. I love singing and playing the piano whenever I have the chance. And in the summer, nothing beats being out on the lake and spending time with my family while waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, and laying in the sun.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has meant everything in my life. As long as I can remember, my parents have helped make religion an important part of my life. I learned that whenever I faced problems or challenges, all I needed to do was pray to my Heavenly Father and He would help me. Through countless experiences, I learned that was true as I recognized the Lord's hand in my life, even in the small and seemingly insignificant things. I felt His power making me far more than I could ever be by myself. As I've read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, I have felt as though they are speaking very personally to me, helping me through my individual trials and struggles. I've felt the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life so powerfully and frequently that I will never be able to deny it. Through that power, I've been able to know for myself that all of the things that I have been taught by my parents are true. I know with all my heart that Jesus is the Christ and that He lives, and just knowing that gives me strength even in my hardest times.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, I strive my best to serve others around me and help them find the same strength in the Gospel that I have found. Currently, I am serving as a missionary for the Church. It is an opportunity which I am infinitely grateful for; I can spend two years of my life being a witness of Jesus Christ and helping others feel the joy which the Gospel and His atonement can bring to each of our lives.
