Hi I'm Brad

I'm a mechanic, enjoy riding motorcycles, love the outdoors and playing my violin. I'm a mormon.

About Me

It's awesome to ride into the country side on my motorcycle, feel the temperature change between a low spot in the road and a vista over looking a valley. Look in the mirrors and watch leaves tumble in my wake. Find some hidden place to grab lunch in a small town. I especially enjoy it when my wife comes with me. Life should be shared. Bacon cooked over an open fire after finally getting out into the cool dew licked morning, that is feeling alive. Watching a covey of quail feed under a feeder, not knowing you are just feet away in you best camouflage. My wife and I are taking up mountian biking. What adventure awaits? Earned my Eagle Scout and can see its influence in my life. Took up the violin and enjoy playing emensely, I do it for fun and to relax. I personally know the man who made my violin, what a great friend to share such a marvelous talent. One day I will actually feel I play worthy of this fantastic work of art he made. My wife says I have a passion for life. I'm not the kind of guy that just sits, I do things. My creed in life comes from Theodore Roosevelt. "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checked by failure, then to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, went on a mission and have always been a member. Now having said that, I came to a point in my life when I realized I had to live what I believe, not just how I was taught. I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. I strive to listen to his prompting and do things when I feel inspired to. I believe there is enough bad things that happen in the world, I try to add positive things when I get the chance. I try my best to live my belief.

How I live my faith

I am a son of a living Father in Heaven. This brings me great comfort, especially in times of need. I am a husband and have an awesome wife that I love with all my heart. I am a father and grandfather. I believe that family is very important. I am very proud of my children and their choices they make. I have a daughter who is in college and two that are married with children of their own. I have three sons that are doing their best in life to make it though all their own struggles. One is even about to become an eagle scout. I am a hometeacher and do my best to be friends with the families I hometeach. I work with the records of the ward I live in. I feel in all these different areas of my own life I am given the oppurtunity to serve either in my own family or with other members and their families. I feel service is one of the best ways I can live my faith.
