Hi I'm Renée

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time mother, who somehow finds the time to finish my degree by correspondence. I love travelling - not going somewhere for vacation, but moving and living in foreign countries. It's a good thing my husband works for Foreign Affairs, which has afforded me the opportunity to continue in my desire.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into a Mormon family, the reason that I still consider myself a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is simply because it helps me be a happier and a better person. I don't want to minimize the feelings that I have had testifying to me that Jesus Christ is indeed my Saviour and that this is His church, but the simplicity of my answer always surprises me. This gospel helps me love those around me more. It helps me better myself in countless ways gaining a better education, becoming a more competent and loving mother and wife, and my endeavours to help in the community.

How I live my faith

While this may seem trite, the thing that I find that helps me live my faith the most is teaching it. I currently teach occasionally during Sunday service, but I find that I am constantly teaching my faith at home to my children. Teaching has always been a great love of mine, and I find that when I teach - even simple things like being kind to each other to my children, it helps remind me how important it is for me to be kind to others.
