Hi I'm Glennyn Ray

About Me

I am a single father of six beautiful, wonderful daughters. I love each one of them with all my heart and being. I work in the Natural Gas Transmission industry. I love the outdoors, sports, reading, art, plays, music, and singing. I love people. I love to travel. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon, and the Holy Bible many times. They both bring me great joy. I have seen how important it is to have to testements of our Savior Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is that, it supports the Holy BIble. I have a firm testimony of this. I know that my Savior lives. I know that I have a Father in Heaven. When I was ten I was taught by the missionaries. I prayed on my own for weeks. After praying one night I had a dream of my Savior was coming to the earth again. In that dream a voice told me to go the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints meeting house. There I met a man that helped me to meet with my Savior and I was ligfted up above the earth and witnessed the wars and mayhem below. My Savior was with many of us as we watched. He comforted us and then he descended to the earth to proclaim who he was. When I awoke I asked to be baptised. Later I met the Bishop of our area. He was the same man in my dream. We became great friends. My little brother was baptised with me that summer. I have never forgotten that dream. I never will. I have had so much joy and happiness in my life because I have embraced the gospel of my Savior Jesus Christ. Even through very tough times I have had hope. That hope comes from our Savior Jesus Christ. He is the light of the world. He came here and he will come again. I cannot wait for that day.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I serve in various callings in my ward. I work with both the youth and adults in my ward. I visit them in their homes and attend varous activites with them. Right now I am in a leadership position, I organize and help organize many activities. I guide, assist and support the different groups in our ward. It gives me great joy to serve these great brothers and sisters. I have such a great love for them. I also serve my cummunity by helping our city and county leaders whenever I can. My daughters and I have worked on many community projects and also served in various local positions.
