Hi I'm Todd Hanson

I am a Mormon. I am a Husband and Father.

About Me

Love being a husband and father. Hobbies are Computers, Boardgames (including strategy games, etc), Tabletop miniature strategy games. I also design games. I also love History, including researching my own family history.

Why I am a Mormon

I vividly remember when my parents joined the church. Their example helped me to discover for myself that the church was true. I know that when we pray, Heavenly Father can tell us (by the Holy Spirit) the truth of all things. Life is hard enough as it is. It is very important to know why we are here, to have the right perspective. Once you know for yourself, it makes many of life's choices easy. I also am so glad to have an Eternal Family. Eternal marriage is one of Gods greatest blessings to us. That is one of the things I remember my parents loving about the gospel. It gives me strength.

How I live my faith

I know that by serving one another we make life much better. I enjoy the callings I have had in the church. I think "living" the gospel is the best way to show others what the church is like. Example is the best teacher. Currently I help teach teach the youth in our congregation.

Which of the Savior’s teachings have influenced you in your life?

Todd Hanson
I love when the Savior taught about being true to your own self. The example he gave of people being "good on the outside" and "bad on the inside", teaches us to not be "fake" to others. I am far from perfect, but I always keep what the Savior taught in mind. I would rather be real, then pretend to be some perfect person. People are always going to be better than me at some things, but I will always show what I am really like. Even my friends who are not members of my church, know that I do what I say I do. I know that Heavenly Father is sad when people say one thing and do another. Show more Show less
