Hi I'm Robert

I've lived in New Hampshire & Florida, and I served a mission in Arizona. I love music & going new places. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Have you ever sat around wondering what to do next? I have, and I can tell you it's not half as exciting as it sounds! I've learned how to have joy in life. One trick, Be proactive! Easy enough right? I've done that throughout my life by doing everything from Boy Scouts to paint-ball, mountain biking, reading, snowboarding, traveling, and the list goes on. Life is often a hard road to travel. I just make sure that I do it with my family and with friends. On their own these activities are fun, but with those you love each becomes a great adventure! And no matter what, always remember to be positive!

Why I am a Mormon

I love God and His Son Jesus Christ. The sincere desire of my heart is to Live with God and my family in Heaven one day. And I've found the path which Christ has given! I know that through the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ we can all be with God again. So, why am I a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints? I've searched and asked God how He would have me live. I have felt the Holy Ghost teach me and guide my life. I don't know everything, but this I do know. I have been led by God to were I am now in life. This I know to be the testimony of the Holy Ghost, and nothing can take that gift away.

How I live my faith

I recently served two years as a full time missionary in Arizona. What I did is invite others to come unto Christ. Missionaries all over the world bring the same message and invitation. It is not ours but Christ's. I live my faith by doing what I can to follow our Savior's teachings and example. I've asked myself "how can I invite my brothers and sisters to live God's laws and follow His Son unless I am myself". That realization with my opportunity to serve (as a missionary and now even afterwards) has brought me closer to Christ than I thought possible. It has also shown me that there is much I need to work on, but Christ will always help me on my way.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Robert
Honestly, No... I was never forced into serving as a missionary for Jesus Christ. There is no 'draft' in His Church. There has always been a missionary emphasis of course, but any who heed the call to serve do so because of the Love we have for God and His children. I can share my personal testimony of that. Before I began serving as a missionary in June of 2010, I learned for myself where we stand with God. He is my Father and yours as well. He sent Christ to Atone for our sins and to suffer our pains. The Love our Father and His Son have for us is Infinate and eternal. As I have served I have seen and felt this Love with greater understanding. It is what brought me to give two years as a missionary. It is why I continue to reach out to you, my brothers and sisters. Show more Show less
