Hi I'm Michael

About Me

I am married, and the father of 4 wonderful children. The oldest is entering high school, the youngest is in elementary school. I work as an attorney for a technology company. I love to play basketball, soccer, and racquetball. I also spend a lot of time reading.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a woman of great faith who set a great example for me. I believed initially because she believed. My senior year in high school, I had many difficulties with my basketball coach. It was a trying time for me. At that time, as I prayed for help, I really felt God's love for me, and it strengthened my belief. It was a great comfort to me, and gave me peace as I continued to struggle with my coach. As my life has continued, God has continued to touch it with little miracles that help me remember that he is there, that he knows who I am, and that he watches over me and my family. I have also come to a greater understanding that it is only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that I can be able to overcome my weaknesses and mistakes.

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the Boy Scouts in my congregation. I work with about 20 boys ages 12-18 as they work on trying to become an Eagle Scout. I also help teach the 12-13 year old boys on Sundays at church.
