Hi I'm Chantal

I'm a Mormon, wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, cousin, and friend. I am a daughter of God striving to return to Him.

About Me

I am a daughter of God. As a wife and the proud mother of four fabulous boys, I enjoy date nights with my husband and spending time with my four boys. I also enjoy spending time with my extended family, building relationships with those that I love. My greatest joys come through being a wife and mother. I pray often that I might be able to fulfill my responsibilities in a way that is pleasing unto my Heavenly Father. He has entrusted me with four wonderful boys and I delight in helping them as they learn and grow. As they serve the Lord as missionaries, it brings me joy to know that they are helping others find the joy of the gospel for themselves and their families as well. I am grateful for my dear husband who is my best friend. I strive to make our lives and our home a place of beauty, peace and comfort for all. I am a sugar artist with my own small business. Being able to participate in the important events of others through my sugar art work is so gratifying. Just as sharing the gospel with others brings me great joy, so does sharing my love for the sugar arts. I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, fishing, and camping; where I can contemplate and fully enjoy the beauty of what God has created for us. It's exciting for me to travel to places that I've never been before where I can experience new places, cultures and people. I also like to sing and play the piano. I appreciate and enjoy great music. I find new things to appreciate and enjoy every day.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brings me peace and happiness. I have a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me. I know that I have an elder brother, Jesus Christ, who died for me. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he restored the only true church to the earth. I know that we have a prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that if I am faithful, I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and be with those that I love for all eternity. I love how the gospel answers my questions and guides my day to day life. I am happiest when I align my life with gospel principles.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the gospel of Jesus Christ and following His example by loving and serving others. I also live my faith by sharing His gospel with others so that they too might having the blessings that the gospel brings. As I live the gospel, my testimony of its truthfulness grows and I grow closer to my Heavenly Father. I enjoy serving others in my home, community and church. I love being a wife and a mother of four boys. That is my first place of service. I have enjoy participating in service projects that improve my community. I have enjoyed serving in many different callings in our church. I enjoy teaching and planning fun activities for the twelve-year old girls in our youth program. I have also enjoyed many years of service with the children. I have served as a leader over the children in several different wards that make up our stake. I have also served as a leader over the children of our ward. As I served them, I loved them. I have also spent time teaching and playing with children ages 18 months to 3 years old. I have been grateful for the opportunity to use my musical abilities as a pianist to play for the children and the women of our church as they sing. I am blessed when I share my time and talents with others.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

I know that families can be together forever. This first became very important to me when I was thirteen years old. My 9 year old brother drowned in a golf course pond while attending a Primary activity. He was my best friend. It was and is very comforting to know that if I am faithful I will see him again. Since that time, I have lost several other family members and friends. I am grateful for the knowledge that families are forever. Now that I am a mother, it is gratifying to know that the effort that I put into my marriage and family will last forever. I know that if I am true and faithful, I will one day receive all the glories of God. Show more Show less

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

My testimony of Jesus Christ increases as I learn about him, strive to live his teachings, and follow the example he set for us.   Show more Show less
