Hi I'm Tim Stewart

I've lived in California my whole life. I'm an Eagle scout I'm a blood donor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a normal teenager. I love to go cycling and swimming. I am going to college. I am an active singer and have been in choirs and musicals. I love to donate blood. it has become something that defines me, and will constantly continue to do this. I feel that it is a way i can give all of me. At college i am currently taking general ed courses and looking for what i really want to do.

Why I am a Mormon

Well for me the church is the most logical of all churches. I have tried to figure out what churches could be true on basis of what the bible teaches of the Lord's church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the most logical. I based this on a couple of different things. One was authority. If we are to be baptized as it says in Acts 2 then that person should have authority. In the bible it teaches about authority in a couple different places. One instance in Hebrews where it says that it is not taken upon man by himself but them that are called of God. When Moses knew that he would no longer be among the Jews he gave the authority to Joshua by placing his hands on his head. This is the method by which the authority or the priesthood are given to worthy members of the Lord's church. We do not achieve authority from gaining a college degree in theology but gain that by God and God alone. This is how the authority was given to Joseph Smith. Through a resurrected being that already had that same authority. This being was commanded of God to give this authority. The authority is now on the earth to bless the lives of all though around. The Lord would also want the blessings of his one faith to be given through out this world. with all the abilities and instant communication that we have. This church is worldwide. There are missionaries who serve though it and teach the gospel where they are allowed to do such. Not only do i know it logically but i have come to know through reading the Book of Mormon that the church is true. The Lord only established one church through out history. all of the different meeting houses taught one way. This same church has been re-established. I'm Mormon because it's the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving of myself. One thing that i really enjoy doing is donating blood. It's a way that i can simply give of myself and not ask for anything in return. The Lord gave all he has and so i try to follow his example by doing this in my life. I love teaching people more of Christ's words. Helping to build their faith in our Savior is something that i do that is dear to me.
