Hi I'm Tyler

I am from the Sunny Beaches of California, I throw Boomerangs, serve as a missionary, and a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I grew up in Whittier California. My parents were divorced by the time i was born. I had an interesting childhood because of this. I moved to Texas with my mother when i was twelve; I was baptized when i was 8, but didn't have a testimony of the church until i was 20. It was when i was in this, the lowest point in my life, even when i had become sufficently humble; that i prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is gods true chhurch on the earth. It is now that i know who Jesus Christ is, Even the Son of God, for i have seen him; not with physical eyes but spiritual. This witness did not happen all at once, but gradually as i excersized the things that the prophet's in Bible and Book of Mormon ask us to do. Because i have tried these things and been a partaker of the blessings thereof; I KNOW that these things are true; Even as i know that the sun rises every morning; it is against my personal philisophy to lie to myself.

Why I am a Mormon

My life consisted of useless activities before the church. I was BIG in gaming, trying to perform well enough to obtain recognition; that people might recognize me. I learned that it doesn't matter how many headshots you make. I concluded that this cup i was trying to fill could not be filled. I yearned for something more than this false hapiness! I would see other members of my family coming back after 3 hours of church on a perfectly good sunday. Even more confusing was that they came home with a smile on their face; A smile that looked unquenchable. I desired to drink of this spiritual water that would cause one not to thirst spiritually. I said a heartfelt prayer for the first time in my life after realizing this. A couple days Later.......in seconds......my answer came. A rapture came upon me, I had never before been so influenced by this feeling. This feeling was clear "You are to go on a full time mission for my church". I was in church the next Sunday, and have never left since. It was times like these that this jewel in 2 Nephi became a reality "Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father Ye shall have eternal life" 2 Nephi 31:20

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints is a priceless opportunity to be an example to my freinds and family. I am currently serving a mission in the state of idaho. I live my faith one day at a time; by striving to overcome life's daily challenges; I also truly believe in emulating the saviors example of service, love, and forgiveness. I also seek to treat people the way i would like to be treated. I can say that this is Chris't Church restored for the last time. Christ restored his church agin because he loves us. When one loves the Savior; You also begin to love what the savior loves, and the savior loves all of his creations. I want this example that we are encouraged to live by; to fill the world, one example at a time.
