Hi I'm Vince

I grew up on a Farm. Now I'm in school to be a doctor, studying Linguistics and teaching Vietnamese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in southeastern Washington, in a small town called Pasco. I love to fish, play sports, and basically be doing anything I can to stay active, so being out on a farm was great. Now I'm a pre-med student in college just trying to find time for work, school, dating and all the other great parts of college life. I work teaching 19-25 year old young men and women Vietnamese as well as part time translating for the LDS church- Life is great!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where my mom was a member of the church and my dad was not. I liked staying home and watching football on sunday's a whole lot more than going to church so that is what I did each week. Then at age 14 I felt like maybe there was something good about what my mom had been telling me for years. I met with the missionaries and knew it was true, that the things they told me would make me happier and more importantly, these things would bring me closer to God. Now almost 10 years after that decision to be baptized, I know even more that the being a part of Jesus Christ's church helps me in every aspect of my life and allows me to live together with my family.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith. I get to serve all kinds of people around me in all kinds of ways. I get calls at all hours of the nights from people needing help, and then when I come, they are so grateful. Each Sunday and Tuesday I help people coordinate with local church leaders so that they can take part in ordinances that will change their lives. I get to go visit people and make sure they are doing well. And people come make sure that I am doing good too. Everyday I help young men that will go and spread my faith to others. I help them develop their own personal knowledge that it is truly of God. My faith is everything to me and my life.
