Hi I'm Dee

I was raised in Pennsylvania. I now live in Utah. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married for a little over one year. I love sports, fitness, weight lifting, music, movies, spending time with friends and family, learning, traveling, working, and many other things. I enjoy my daily life and I try to have fun no matter what I am doing. My faith is something that helps me to be succussful in all aspects life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this church really is led by Jesus Christ through a modern day prophet, just like prophets were led by Him in biblical times. If I didn't believe this was true I would not go to church at all. I know that anyone who wants to know if this is true, and is sincere about it, can find out for themselves by reading the Book of Mormon, going to this church, or by praying to our Heavenly Father, asking to know if these things are true. My life has been blessed since becoming an active member of the church.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a continual process. I am always working to become a better person. I communicate with my Heavenly Father through daily prayer. I think this is crucial to living my faith because we can develop a meaningful relationship with our Heavenly Father through prayer. I also try to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, by thinking of what He would do if He were here such as: helping a friend, neighbor, or even a stranger. I love to serve others.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

In John 7:17 the Savior says "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself". This is a foolproof test our Master has given us to know if doctrine comes from God or man. We can know for ourselves if Mormonism is true by living it. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that God is our Heavenly Father who loves all of us. We were with him before we came to Earth as spirits. Because of his love for us we have the opportunity to return and live with him again because of his Son, Jesus Christ. Each of us can communicate with our Heavenly Father through prayer.
