Hi I'm Thomas Lynn

I was raised in wyoming. I am serving a mission. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a simple, small town type of guy. I love just being with the Family, including the extended family, and just enjoying the simple things of life. I went to a community college and plan on transfering to a larger university. I grew up playing sports and though often times I wasn't that good, throuhg time spent on developing those skills I was able to play on my high school teams of football and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have felt and seen to much to not believe in God and because of experiences in my past. I have found that The book of Mormon, another collection of scripture, used with the bible has testified to my heart and mind and soul that Jesus is the Christ the Son of Heavenly Father. Because the Book of Mormon is true I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that there still is such a man called of God to lead us back to Him today as a prophet. This man is Thomas Spencer Monson, and he holds the authority of God's power because Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ has given it to him.

How I live my faith

For me living my faith is sometimes easy and sometimes hard. Back home I found out that reputation in a small town is quite important, so to make your faith a part of your life and not just a weekend activity was essential. I tried to reach out and help others become better people through example in school as well as trying to help out youth through coaching after high school. In church I am currently serving as a missionary, or representative of Jesus Christ in the world, and going around different communities lifting up those that are discouraged and down in life.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Thomas Lynn
The nature of God is simple, He is our Father. Because of this little fact, we begin to uderstand the love He gives us every day and why He gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to help us all return to Him. From being seperated from my family right now I know a little better how a father wants me to be home. Even my imperfect, mortal dad, can't wait until I get to come home after my time of service is up. Show more Show less
