Hi I'm Kip

I'm a lifelong Mormon, and wouldn't have it any other way.

About Me

I have been raised by goodly parents, and wonderful siblings, and have experienced many blessings in my life. The decision to share the gospel for 2 years in PA has led to my choicest treasures in life - my wife and children. I have been married for 14 years to my eternal girlfriend and we are raising 3 little ones. I work in the field of computer networking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the church. As a teenager I began to reflect upon what I believed in. It took a few years of pondering before I realized how the Lord was trying to communicate with me. Ever since that first experience of recognizing the Spirit, the Lord has guided me through each important decision. As I read the scriptures and attend church, the feelings of love, joy and peace help me to know that this is where the Lord wants me to be. I am so grateful to know that He lives, knows me, and has a plan for my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the church as a Bishop. My ward congregation is an extension of my family and I am very grateful for the many friendships I enjoy with them. There isn't a day that goes by that I do not have some interaction with a friend in the church. These daily contacts remind me of what is important in life.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

I am eternally grateful for the Savior and His sacrifice for me. I know that it is only through Him, and His grace that I can return to live with my Father. He provided the path for me to follow. As a follower of Christ, I beleive that I must live as He would. I know that no matter how hard I work, I can never "qualify" myself for heaven based on my own merits, but I will be judged on what I know and how I acted. My testimony of Christ and His salvation compels me to live my life according to His gospel plan. It is throught the Atonement of Christ, and the natural obedience to His laws that we find happiness in this life and eternal life to come. Show more Show less
