Hi I'm Lor

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, raised in Missouri, served in New Jersey, married and schooled in Utah, deployed to Iraq, and now working in California. I'm a husband to my beautiful wife and father to three wonderful and delightful children. I love doing family history when I have time and am a tech gadgeteer. When I was about 10 years old I would check out programming books from the library and stay up al night entering code on our Apple IIc. Now I like discovering new technologies and figuring out how to use them.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a family of seven children. My parents have very strong faith and they taught each of us the purpose of life. My mom gives all that she has to bless the lives of each of her children. We read scriptures, had family prayer, worked together, and played together every day. This has stayed with me all through the years and I can see the good foundation this has provided in my my own life and the lives of my brothers and sister. I am a Mormon because I can see the way that it has blessed my life and the lives of those I love. I know that God lives because I feel the Holy Ghost when I'm learning more about Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by starting with my own life. I make an effort to pray and read scriptures by myself everyday. This helps me have a moment of quiet communication with God. It helps me stay focused on what matters most. As a family we also take a few minutes every day to do these and share these with our children.
