Hi I'm Debra Elaine

About Me

I am a Life Coach, and Business Owner of multiple businesses. One of my favorite passions is to help others to learn and grow. I also love to help business owners promote their businesses and add additional streams of income to what they already do. My ever growing family continues to expand as my 7 children marry and have families of their own. Families are incredible and make life truly worthwhile. Although I am currently single I look forward to sharing the blessings of the temple with my future companion. My life has been filled with challenges however that doesn't change the truthfulness of the Gospel or the principles of eternal families that it offers to us. I have a strong faith that all of these blessings will be mine eternally. My hobbies are gardening, internet, health and wellness, decorating, gourmet cooking, beauty, music, singing, and having FUN!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, His Resurrection and all of the potential and blessing they bring to all mankind. I was born into the church meaning that my family were members before I was born and that I was taught the Gospel as a child while growing up. When I was 14 years old I wondered for myself if the church was really true. As I studied and prayed the truthfulness of the Gospel was made know to me by the wonderful feelings of the Holy Ghost that testified to me that it is true. My life has been full of joy and also of many struggles. My testimony of Jesus Christ and my membership in His church have blessed me with the faith, hope, and courage to meet any and all challenges head on and know that with the help of my Savior I can get through them and with His love I can have all things turned to good for me and to the good of my family. Being a Mormon is a GREAT blessing! The love support and strength of other members help to sustain me and to offer the opportunity to serve, love, and grow together. I owe everything to my Savior Jesus Christ and am so very thankful to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I supervise a group of women in my church that visit other women each month to check on them, bring an uplifting message to them, and encourage them, giving them support for the good times and help during difficult times. I also have a group of women that I visit each month to provide this support and blessings to them. I also do genealogy work and make connections in families between them and the ancestors that have lived before them. I share fun and meaningful activities with church members and their families. In addition to this I try to uplift those around me by being positive to them and encouraging them.

What is being a Mormon like?

Debra Elaine
Being a member is like always having a loving home wherever you go. No matter where I travel in the world the church is the same, the members loving and welcoming and it is the same Gospel. My membership in the church is a huge blessing to me and to my family. It is a way of life that is filled with progression, self improvement, love, close family relationships, and service. Being a member brings JOY! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Debra Elaine
YES! A very big yes! We do regard the Bible as Holy Scripture. We also believe that God continues to speak to man today. Show more Show less

What is the Church's position on abortion?

Debra Elaine
Life is sacred. For this reason all life should be protected as far as possible. Being a mother myself I value the life of a child from the very beginning of it's inception. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Debra Elaine
Actually no members are required to serve a mission. In fact serving a mission is a choice and decision that is made by the individual. Although we desire all worthy young men to serve a mission the choice is theirs. Young women and older couples also can choose to serve a mission. Because we love our Savior Jesus Christ and love the pure principles of the Gospel we as members desire to share them with others so that they can have the blessing that will come into their lives through living them. Most members want to share the Gospel and to in that way be missionaries even if they never choose to serve a formal mission. Show more Show less
