Hi I'm Jenna

I'm a wife and mother trying to help my husband get through school. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm married and we have a little boy names Elijah, who is busy busy busy! My husband is in the middle of physical therapy school, so one of my hobbies right now is learning to cook with beans. I love music and I am getting into reading! My favorite authors are Agatha Christie and Robert Louis Stevenson. I work online as a math and career help tutor and write when I have time.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it is what God, my Heavenly Father, who loves me, would have me be.

How I live my faith

I try my best to follow Christ's example. Right now at church I work with the youth at church. I'm a secretary for the presidency that watches over the girls age 12-18. The girls are amazing and fun! I love their strength, and seeing their examples of doing what's right no matter what other people say.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate and distinct individuals. That they are one in person, but three different personages. I love knowing that because it's easy to understand and just makes so much sense to the heart and mind. I pray to a perfect Father, who knows and loves me perfectly. Jesus is my older brother and Savior, who literally gave everything that He could to redeem me, and still works to save my soul. The Holy Ghost is my friend, and through the laying on of hands, my constant companion and guide. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

For sure! I think the confusion comes because people don't know the full name of the Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The name of Christ is in the church so of course we believe in Him. We believe in the Bible, just like other Christians, and try our best to follow the example that Christ set for us.  Show more Show less
