Hi I'm Kacey

I'm a wife, mother, sister and daughter. I am a child of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three children, two girls and one boy. I have been a stay at home mom for 13 years now and it has been one of the greatest joys I know I will experience in this life. After being inactive for many years I found my way back to the gospel about 10 years ago. I married a nonmember who was just baptized last year. We have plans of being sealed for eternity this year. I plan on going to college now that my baby is in school and that terrifies me a little but I CAN and WILL do it!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but was not active through out my childhood. After having my first child, I wanted to do right by her and have her in church. I started visiting other churches with friends and felt the good in them but still felt something lacking. I decided to visit the mormon church again and that was the first time I had gone in many years. It felt so right and I knew I was home. That was about 10 years ago and I am still active today. I am so thankful to have this gospel in my life. I love that it is a religion that focuses so much on family and the importance of each of our individual roles in our families. I am so thankful to know that families can be eternal. How wonderful it is to know that if we do our best to do all we are commanded, we will live with our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ and all of our loved ones for eternity. I am so grateful for a loving Savior who loved us so much that he chose to be bruised and broken in our behalf and atoned for all of our sins so that we all have the equal opportunity to repent and become clean again so that we may live eternally with them. I have fallen and have felt the wonderful peace and love that comes from repenting and being able to get back up again through true repentance which is a gift given to us from our Savior. I know that our Father in Heaven and our Savior know each of us and love us no matter what. They love us all the same and want us all to return to them one day. How blessed we are to have prayer to be able to communicate with Heavenly Father and thank Him and ask Him for those things we stand in need of. I am eternally grateful for the young boy Joseph Smith who suffered greatly so that we may have another testament of Jesus Christ on this earth to help direct us on the path back home. The Book of Mormon has brought me closer to my Father in Heaven and taught me so much about Jesus Christ and how to become like them. I am grateful to have a living prophet on this earth today. How blessed we are to have a prophet of the Lord to direct us in this day and time when the world is so full of so many things satan uses to pull us away from Heavenly Father and Christ. My life is truly blessed and encriched because of my faith and being a member of this church. I am the wife and mother that I am because of my religion and the teachings that I know come directly from Christ. I testify that all these things are true and have had that witnessed to me through the Holy Ghost whom will tell you the truth of all things.

How I live my faith

I am the nursery leader in our ward which means that I have the priviledge of spending 2 hours with children who are 18 months through 3 years old. We have play time, music time, a small lesson and snack time. I absolutely love children and love being able to spend this time with them. I also visit 2 ladies from our ward once a month, with another sister I go to church with, to see how they are and if they are in need of anything. Sometimes we have lunch and just visit. It is nice to get out and socialize and check on our sisters and make sure they are doing well. My kids are all in school but I still sometimes go to the play dates that all the stay at home moms get together and do just because it is socializing and I love to be around all the children I spend time with at church on Sundays.
