Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I have three children and an amazing husband. I have been raising my brother and sister for the last six years. My brother is serving a mission right now for our church, and my sister recently moved out to go to school. I have struggled on and off with depression and anxiety through out my life. After the birth of my daughter and two miscarriages I struggled with a perinatal mood disorder called postpartum ocd. I now volunteer for the Arizona Postpartum Wellness Coalition. I never get tired of sharing my story in hopes that I can help other moms out there who are struggling with this illness. I have taken President Monson's advice to heart and am always looking to find the joy in my journey.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised LDS it was still something that I chose for myself. My parents have not been the greatest examples to me. I have really struggled with some of the decisions made by my parents. They are now divorced and my mom is no longer a member of our church. I am the oldest of eight children and it was devastating for me to watch our family fall apart because of sin. Satan is real and he seeks to destroy the family unit. As a teenager I found out for myself that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Through out all my trials I have found hope through the atonement of Jesus Christ. He suffered and died for each one of us. He knows us personally. This gospel means everything to me. It brings me peace and joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best person I know how to be. I'm an example to those around me and I always strive to be like my savior Jesus Christ.
