Hi I'm Drew

I am Canadian. I am a father and husband. I am a biology teacher, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with three boys. My wife is not of my faith, but we share the same values and love for our Saviour. We try to instill these values and love into our children. I am a high school biology teacher, and I coach volleyball and rugby. I enjoy working with my students outside of the classroom to expand their talents and help them develop into more experienced young men and women. I enjoy being in the outdoors, playing volleyball, rugby, skiing, and being physically active. I also enjoy reading and learning new things, especially with respect to the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and comfort I feel when I live the way I am supposed to. I am a Mormon because I know that God has a plan for all of us, and each of us. I am a Mormon because of the relationship I have developed with my Father in Heaven and with my Saviour Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I have learned to become a better husband and father. I am a Mormon because it makes sense!

How I live my faith

I try to set a positive and righteous example to others, especially to my lovely wife and children. Each day, I am faced with trials, temptations, and sometimes tragedies. I am also faced with faith, patience and love. It is my choice to decide the actions I will take each and every day, it is my choice what attitude I want to have each day. My loving Heavenly Father, through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, allows me to overcome my weaknesses, if I so choose.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Drew
It is difficult, yet easy. Not being the norm is tough, but knowing what is right makes decisions easy. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Drew
Yes, I truly believe Thomas S. Monson has been called of God and speaks with Heavenly Father on matters pertaining to His children. I know that Pres. Monson is the only one that receives revelation pertaining to the Lord's Church. Show more Show less
