Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shortly before they were married in their 20s. I am the oldest of their four children and our family has been immensely blessed because of our religious beliefs. We love one another and have a great deal of fun together. Though we live in different areas of the world now, the faith that we share and the knowledge that we can be together forever as a family keeps us close. When I was sixteen years old I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Within days of discovery, the tumor was surgically removed. This marked a turning point in my life. It was the first time in my memory I had to exercise immense faith and rely on the testimony I had of my Savior Jesus Christ. This experience gave me a sense of empathy and great desire to help others. This lead me to the field of Social Work where I now work. I use my education and experience to assist those in need in the health care setting. I love this Church and the joy it has brought to my life. All that I am and can become is because of the knowledge I have of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ upon the Earth today.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. The teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints remind me of who I am and why I am here. As a member of the Church I am reassured of my divine nature, the core of who I truly am. Jesus the Christ is our Lord and Savior. Our Father in Heaven loves us and has given us living prophets today like the days of the Old Testament with Abraham or Moses. I know that this is His Church upon the earth today as sure as the sun will rise each day.

How I live my faith

"...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." -Mosiah 2:17 Each of us is blessed with different gifts, talents and abilities and we are able to use those to make the world a better place one smile at a time. I am blessed with a desire to help others. I have the opportunity to do this on a daily basis professionally and privately. This helps me to draw closer to my Heavenly Father by following the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

What is faith?

In Hebrews 11:1 the Apostle Paul taught that "...faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Faith is showing our hope for that which we do not see through active doing. Show more Show less
