Hi I'm Brandy Nichole

I was born in the Southern part of the U.S. I am a survivor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 30 something year old Mother and Wife that loves my Heavenly Father, my Lord Jesus Christ, my Husband, and my Son very much. I am a LPN (licensed practical nurse) who is always growing in the healing arts. I spent 2 years working in a county jail as an intake/medication/emergency response nurse on Graveyard shift. It was such a great experience and I miss it but now I am stay at home Momma homeschooling my awesome little boy. I love animals and working with people with special needs. My goal is to be a nurse specializing in the care of psychiatric patients. I love to read, really any genre of book but am partial to sci-fi. The scriptures give me great peace whenever I read them, and strive to live their principles, to be the best Momma, wife and person I can possible be. I love making crafts, especially painting glass and making ceramics. I love movies and music, I have sang my whole life. I am a cancer survivor and one tough cookie with a soft center :)

Why I am a Mormon

I lost my Daddy when I was 18 years old and shortly there after my great-grandmother who I loved very dearly. I was raised to believe that when we die, if we are righteous, we go to heaven, but we do not know anyone as we did on earth, not our children, not our parents, no one. This always made me very sad. I thought to myself, "heaven would not be heaven to me without the ones I loved around me". When learning about the Church I found out that Heavenly Father indeed did want us to be with our families and has made a way for us to live together with the ones we love and know them as we did here on earth. This was such a precious gift to me, knowing that if endured righteously to the end I would someday again be with mt family. In a world that looks out for number one I am a person who loves people and wants to help them. I love being a Mormon because the church believes that everyone needs love and help and there are great systems in place to make sure that everyone is taken care of.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday school teachers to a great group of 10 and 11 year olds, it is so fun to see the world through their eyes and learn more and more about the gospel with them. I am my ward's (meeting houses) cannery specialist. I help the families in our ward store food and other essentials in their homes for emergencies and hard times. We have a dry cannery in our county where we go and order dry goods such flour, rice, and sugar to stock our shelves. Having a good supply of stocked food can give such peace of mind in these troubled times. I love going to the woman's functions at church, it is so good to be around other people who know the trials a wife and mother face everyday. I try to live my life and raise my family the way God has set forth in his word, and love to tell anyone who will listen just what he has done for me and my family. With out God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, my family, and my the church, I know I would not be alive today.

Are Mormons Christians?

Brandy Nichole
Oh, most definitely we are Christians. Christ is the center of our beliefs, without Jesus we would have no church, no life, no salvation. He left glory and came to earth to die for us. We strive to live like him in every facet of our life. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Brandy Nichole
We believe that after you die, depending on how you live your life, go on and live another life, an everlasting life. If you are baptized and live righteously until you die you will go to Spirit Paradise to wait for God to call you home. If you do not get baptized, that you go to Spirit Prison where you still live forever but, it is a life away form the light of God, but that until the final call to come home, you have chances even then to repent and turn to God and come unto his presence in Paradise.
