Hi I'm Jacqueline

About Me

I am a native Puertorican, who lives in the island with my non-member husband of 27 years, our son & my mom, who's 90. We live in a "farm" with 10 sheep, 3 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, & about 10 chickens...8- I love to knit, crochet, garden, read, play the piano, and window shop. I'm not a good cook, but so far my husband & son have survived my lack of culinary expertise...8-

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a mamber of the Church since I was 13. Only my brother & I got baptized. My parents & my sister didn't. The Church offered me a reason to live, a reason to enjoy life. I got to know JesusChrist and understand he is really my oldest brother, my SAVIOR. I have never looked back at the decision of joining the Church, and have never regreted it. I have learned how to have a happy family, how to overcome sorrows, how to look at life from the everlasting perspective of my Father in heaven. I understand that trials & tribulations are not permanent, and that in the great Plan of Happiness I can trust the Lord to guide me around the many "potholes" one can find in the highway of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis. Christ has been on my mind constantly, and I try to live to please Him & our Father in Heaven. I read the scriptures, attend church every week, I keep my vocabulary clean, and try to be a blessing to those around me.
