Hi I'm Harold

I am a husband, a father to four children, a Marine Corps veteran, an air traffic controller, a cyclist and and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in one of the most beautiful places that our Heavenly Father created, and enjoy spending time with my family enjoying the beauty of the country around us. I have a passion for cycling and love working with the Boy Scouts of America. I work for the US Navy as a civilian air traffic controller, and enjoy working with a diverse group of Sailors from all different cultures, religions, and ethnic groups. I have traveled to several countries and was blessed with the opportunity meet the woman who is now my wonderful wife while visiting Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family strong in the Mormon faith; however, my personal conversion to and understanding of the wonder of our Savior's gospel didn't occur until later in my life. I spent a period of my life not in tune with the spirit and found myself drifting from the teachings of the church. After several years I returned to the church and was humbled by the love, acceptance, and forgiveness that I found in the gospel and in the membership of the church. I have come to love the beauty of the gift our Father in Heaven has given us through his plan of happiness which will allow us to be united with our families throughout eternity. I recognize the many blessings that I receive from following the teachings of Christ and testify that it is by serving Christ through our fellow men that we are able to more fully realize the love our Savior has for us individually. It is in part because of the love I feel for my fellow man and from our Savior that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being a good husband and father is perhaps the best way that I demonstrate how I live my faith. The role of the family is so important to our eternal happiness that I don't think I could ever do anything more important than serving my lovely wife and beautiful children as best as I can. I also try to always remember who I am no matter where I am or what I am doing. I am a child of our Heavenly Father and a representative of Jesus Christ. I try to always look for ways that I can be of service to my Heavenly Father and to all those around me.
