Hi I'm Reese Loveless

I grew up in Utah. I served a french speaking mission in West Africa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Utah my whole life. I love life, and spending time with loved ones. Growing up in Utah, I've been surrounded by the LDS Church, and I've been apart of the church since I was born. Just like anyone that really wants to know if this church is true, I had to search and pray to receive my own witness. Even after my baptism at age 8, my testimony wasn't solidified until I was in High School, and even more on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that it is true. I know that the gospel is true, that Jesus did restore his church in our day, and that the family is central to the plan of our loving Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Often it seems like we come up short in trying to live the gospel, but that's why it's so important to rely on Jesus Christ. I try my best to do everything that I have been asked to do. I've recently been blessed with the opportunity to help teach two young Congolese the message of the gospel. I also love helping out with our local institute of religion, it strengthens my testimony every time.

What is faith?

Reese Loveless
Faith is a very complex principle, although sometimes it seems simple. When we have faith, we trust in God, and strive our best to do all that He asks us to do. Elder Dallin H. Oaks, an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, stated in a discourse in April 2010 that, "Our faith is in Jesus Christ, and is not dependent on outcome." We just need to follow Christ, and do all that he asks of us, and whatever comes of it is what we need most in our lives to grow. We need to keep a positive attitude, and keep moving forward.
