Hi I'm Sam

I love life, and I am working to help put myself through college to be a special education teacher.

About Me

I am working on becoming a special education teacher. I love working with children, and helping them however I can. I also enjoy learning to use various technological systems. I enjoy figuring out things with computers and other devices.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the LDS Church is true. My parents were both the first ones in their own families to join the church. They raised my siblings and me in the church, and taught us to appreciate the teachings in the church. As I have studied the teachings on my own, I have found a deeper appreciation for the precious truths taught. I am grateful that they did raise us in the church, because the LDS Church has become such an integral part of my life. The church has helped me realize who I am and what I can do. There are so many reasons that I am glad I'm a member of the church. I can't begin to number all the ways in which the church has blessed me throughout my life; and many ways in which I have been able to give service to others. A few of the reasons I'm grateful for being a member of the church include: greater appreciation for my family; personal guidance in life; and many friends that I have that have helped me in a myriad of ways.

How I live my faith

The gospel is very important to me. Prayer has been an invaluable tool to help me find guidance and direction in my life. I also find great comfort in going to the scriptures for guidance. Going to church each week, and periodically worshiping in the temple also help me find greater meaning. I help with some of the family history work the church does. I have been working recently on entering data from immigration records and other public government records (such as censuses).
