Hi I'm Roseann

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband to whom I have been married to for 25 years. We have a beautiful 11 year old daughter. I graduated from the college back in 1981 with a BA degree in Humanities from the University of Utah. My husband is in the Computer Technology Information Systems field and I work for an international chemical company. I enjoy jazz music and love to bike ride with my my family. I really enjoying baking and making people happy with what I bake.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church to parents who were already strong and also born into the church. We have a strong ancestry who were part of the early church organized by Joseph Smith. My great great grandfather was once of the first 12 apostles under Joseph Smith. There was a 17 year period in my life where I became inactive and as time progressed I felt a great sense of something lacking in my life. The missionaires stopped by my house one day and it was then I realized what I had been missing. I needed to get my life back in order and go back to church. I know it was and is because of the Savior's tender mercies that I can make progress everyday to becoming a better person and live His commandments. The Atonement is the greatest gift we will ever receive. I know the Church is true, that the Book of Mormon is true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know us personally and love us with a deeper love than we can now comprehend.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Women's Auxilliary of the church as 1st counselor. I enjoy reaching out to others in service and love. I have also served as a teacher of young children in our church and enjoy singing with them and helping them to learn about our Savior's love for them.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We believe that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. That He is the Only Begotten Son of God. He is the firstborn of the Father and the only way we can go back to Heavenly Father. He is literally our Savior and Redeemer of the World. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

I found the answer to that question by reading the Book of Mormon. The Holy Ghost spoke strongly to my heart that it is true. It is a wonderful book that will bring you closer to Christ. Every time I read it I gain a deeper understanding of who I am in relation to Christ and Heavenly Father. It brings me true joy and peace. If you are seeking to know not just out of curiosity but with a sincere heart, the Holy Ghost will make the truth of it known to you. Show more Show less
