Hi I'm Mary

I am going to school to be a nurse. On the side I take photos and you guessed it: I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to school to be a nurse. Some things that I enjoy are photography, reading, and running. I plan to run in a half marathon before this year is over. I love to be outdoors and working with children, I must say they are my first passion. I enjoy cooking, but mostly baking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to be born in this church, I love to think I would still accept it otherwise. But in a world where love only lasts til death and then it's over, I know that through our Father in Heaven's plan, I can be with my family forever through making covenants and working to keep them everyday.

How I live my faith

I try to magnify my callings. I am a family history consultant where I am to help others to trace back their heritage. I am also a visiting teacher where I am able to get to know friends that I might not otherwise. Mostly I believe that living my faith is reaching out to those who need me, a friend.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society was once just an hour where the moms and older women met on Sundays. But, when I turned 18 a many years ago, I learned differently. It is one of the oldest women's organization where it does just that, provided relief. It is a wonderful way for everyone to look out for those living in the same vicinity. When someone is in need, be it a positive or negative reason, the Relief Society is there to provide food, child care, or whatever the need may be. Charity Never Faileth is the motto and service is is the key to showing our love. Show more Show less
