Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a wife, mom, teacher, and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend. I feel like I never have time to do everything that I want to do, but I have a good time trying. I love to do zumba and run for exercise I love music and I enjoy playing the piano. I have 7 sons who have grown up way too fast. After a twenty year break I returned to college and earned a bachelor degree. I soon after started teaching in an elementary school. I am currently working on earning my masters degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I want to serve him and do all that I can to show my love for him and for my Heavenly Father. In the last year my father, my mother-in-law, and my father-in-law passed from this life. It has been so difficult and I miss them so much, but I'm so grateful for this gospel that teaches me that my relationships with those who are gone are not over. We are only separated for a time and then we will live again having the same relationships we had here in this life. I look forward to the day that I will get a big hug from my dad again and I can tell him how much I love him and appreciate all he has done for me. He was a wonderful example of living like Christ. I hope that I can be an example of one who is living like Christ and that through my example those around me can feel God's love.

How I live my faith

The most important way that I live my faith is in teaching and being an example to my children. I want more than anything for them to know that I love the Savior and that happiness comes by living the way he showed us to live. My two oldest sons have served a mission for two years to teach others about Christ and my third son just recently went to England on a two year mission. I miss them so much when they are gone, but I know that they are helping others and doing good. I pray that all my sons will desire to serve. I also teach the young women in my ward and plan and participate in activities that will help them learn how to be virtuous and lovely women, wives, and mothers. I love the women's organization in my church. I don't have any sisters or daughters, but I feel a real sisterhood with the women in my church as we serve and help each other in our lives!
