Hi I'm Trent

I love to play sports and to write, I've been Jimmered, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Bountiful, Utah. I am all about sports. An ideal day for me includes going to the gym and playing about 4.5 hours of basketball. In high school, I wrote for the school newspaper. I loved it. Writing is a way of releasing energy and frustration for me, and it is the best way I can express myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church. I always had a strong belief that it was true, but I never knew why it was important until I served a mission. It was never a question of "if" but a question of "why". Being on my mission though, I watched families unite together, saw people change their lives around 180 degrees, and met people that were absolutely ready to hear the truth and embrace. To me, it really showed that this is Christ's church and Christ's doctrine. I love this church, and value my membership in it very highly.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel with everyone that I can, and letting them feel the love of God that I have felt in my life. One of the most important things that I have learned through experience of being a member of the church is who I am and how to be myself, and balancing my personality with living the doctrine and commandments of Christ. Everyone that is religious has to come to a balance of putting off the inner man and living righteously, while still being happy and enjoying life. That is just one of the reasons why I love this church so much- it is easy to be you and be righteous while still being happy.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Various ancient prophets actually wrote the Book of Mormon on ancient metal plates, the cheif editor being Mormon, hence the title of the book, the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith was its translator from the ancient record, and translated it into English, the record we have today. Show more Show less

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

The prophet is Thomas S. Monson, however, we sustain all of the apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators. Show more Show less
