Hi I'm Bethany Danielle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a school teacher. I like to travel and meet people from all different places. I spend my free time reading or doing things outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, but I am a Mormon because I came to know for myself that the things my parents had always taught me are true. When I was about twelve years old, I prayed and prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is true. As I read it more, I had a strong feeling that it was the Word of God. As I continue to read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, that feeling grows. I am reminded that God loves me and that I can see Him again someday.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend church meetings each Sunday and participate in other activities with my ward. I serve my ward by helping with the women's organization. I work with a few other women to plan meetings and activities. These meetings and activities help to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and to provide knowledge and tools to grow personally. I also go and visit women in their homes to get to know them better and to build friendships with them outside of church meetings. I absolutely love to serve these women.

What is the Relief Society?

Bethany Danielle
Relief Society is the Lord's organization for women, who are referred to as "sisters." All adult female members of the church are part of the Relief Society. Sisters in the Relief Society meet together each week as part of regular church services. The motto for Relief Society is "Charity Never Faileth." Relief Society women dedicate their time and their talents to serve others. Part of this service includes serving through Visiting Teaching, in which sisters are given the opportunity to visit one another in their homes. On these visits, sisters come to know one another and share their thoughts and feelings about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
