Hi I'm Dustin

A husband, naturalist, lover of good food, and a Mormon.

About Me

Well, first off I think that I am the luckiest man on earth to be married to my sweetheart. I am currently going to school full time as a geology student; I love the outdoors, nature, all of God's creations, and cooking. I like to get to know people, make friends, and most of all I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

The scriptures teach, "If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God." I did that, and I know that this is the true and living church of Jesus Christ. I have felt it in my heart. I have come to know for myself that The Book of Mormon is true. I have read it, and every time I read it I feel my Heavenly Fathers love for me, I feel my Savior Jesus Christ drawing nearer to me. I have felt His spirit telling me that these things are true. I know that this is the true and living church of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that we have a living prophet on the Earth today. It is because of that I am a Mormon, because I know its true.

How I live my faith

I practice my faith by doing the small and simple things really. Its not hard, I read the scriptures, pray daily, attend church, go to the temple, and do my church callings. I try to help those who are in need and be there for everyone. In general, I just try to do the things Christ would do. It's not hard, its just the small constant things like that.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are most certainly Christians. The very foundation of our faith is in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We firmly believe in His divinity and that through Him we can be forgiven of our sins. We seek every day to live like Him, to know his teachings, and to come closer unto Him by reading and studying His teachings and serving our fellow man. We know that He died for us, and that He loves us. We know that He lives, and we know that He will return. He is the center of our faith and our lives. He is our Savior and we strive to follow him both in word and deed. Show more Show less
