Hi I'm LeAnne Queen

I'm a little silly! I work at a cemetery. My kids are my whole world & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to bake, create, and send hand written notes in the mail. I work at a cemetery. I have four kiddos and we all live with my parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. But that is not why I am a Mormon. It is easy to say that someone is Mormon because they were born that way and I suppose a lot of people are. For me that was true for a long time until I gained my own witness that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was indeed true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to ask God if it was true. I felt a warm and happy feeling that is hard to discribe, like sunshine from the inside but better! The experiance moved me from a place of believing that the Mormon church was true to knowing it is true.

How I live my faith

I deffanatly move to the beat of my own drum and sometimes struggle to fallow all the rules. That is ok when dealing with art but in life I have learned that it is most freeing when I fallow the "rules". No matter the situation the guidelines for proper behivor are there to keep us and others happy. I live my faith by daily reading the scriptures and getting on my knees to pray morning and night. This small and simple pratice helps me to stay happily within the unwritten rules of life!

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

LeAnne Queen
When we serve others we are serving God. God has given us everything we have, even our breath. It is a blessing to be ask to teach or to serve in other ways within the church. God knows our talents and abilities and he allows us to serve in his church where we are most needed. Every person that serves in the church is paid in blessing. Show more Show less
