Hi I'm Anna

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom to 2 children after enjoying a great college education and a fabulous career. Being a mom is by far the most challenging but rewarding 'career' I've had.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith and testimony in Jesus Christ is what truly gives me happiness and hope each day. The most important thing to me is my family and one of the greatest blessings is to be sealed to them. Because of this we will be together forever if we follow the commandments and live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I spend many hours every week devoted to my faith - whether it is time spent in family prayer or personal prayer, or scripture study, or teaching gospel principle lessons to my children or preparing a lesson to teach at church on Sunday - we talk about and try to live our faith at home. I also spend many hours each week serving and socializing with other church members. Serving one another draws us closer as a group. My membership in this church is everything to me.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

The church's welfare program is a spiritual program that addresses temporal needs. The welfare program, along with all other church doctrine, teaches us that we should strive to become self-reliant. We do this by following principles of provident living. As members of the church we have the opportunity to contribute to welfare programs of the church - whether through fast offerings once a month or directly to other church welfare programs. It is a great blessing as members of the church to share in these programs that greatly benefit those all over the world. Show more Show less
