Hi I'm Matthew N

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud dad to two awesome boys, Evan (4) and Deacon (18 months), I have an amazing wife that continues to amaze me every day. We live in a little town called Jasper, Indiana, and we are blessed with so many wonderful neighbors and friends. I have been married for almost 6 years and I went to school at BYU-Idaho where I graduated with a degree in Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS Church when I was 18 yrs old. I had some friends from high school who were members of the church and, through them, I met the missionaries. After one lesson from the missionaries I knew that what they were saying was true, and that it was what I needed even though I was previously unaware that I "needed" anything at all. I prayed and asked my Father in Heaven whether this was the true church of Jesus Christ here on the earth, I received my answer as I felt an undeniable confirmation through the whisperings of the Holy Ghost. After my baptism, I had the opportunity to go on a mission to Nicaragua, and after that I was sealed to my best friend in the Temple of the Lord.

How I live my faith

The way to live my faith is done everyday in the home, through personal and family scripture sudy as well as personal and family prayer. I live it when I leave my house in the morning and go to work and have the opportunity to interact with my brothers and sisters on this earth. I love being able to visit those brothers and sisters in my ward that may just need a reminder the Heavenly Father truly does know them and He loves them very much. My faith is lived when I spend time with my two sons and beautiful wife and build those relationships that have the potential to be eternal and everlasting.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Matthew N
There is no person who lives, will live or has lived on this Earth who will not be benefited by the grace of God. It is through the grace of God that we are saved from sin. As we repent and strive to live a life in harmony with the teachings of Christ we qualify to be "joint heirs with Christ" as Paul teaches to the Romans. Show more Show less
