Hi I'm Jed

I build families, I build houses, I dig wells, I dig my wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the father of four wonderful children and the husband of a beautiful and loving wife. In my occupation I go out and drill water wells for homes and communities. I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding. I also love to build things and over the last few years my family has built the house that we now live in. I learned a lot and saved a little. We live a great life and I am happy to share what has helped me to be happy with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a mormon but like many others I had to find out for myself if this was truly God's church here on earth. It took a lot of prayer and fasting, but when God decided to speak to me the answer was unmistakable. I am a Mormon because that is what God wants me to be and He has guided me into the path that I must follow in order to happily return to live with him together with my wife and children. I love the feeling of knowing that even though I may not know the answers to all of lifes questions, I do know that this is God's church and that He is guiding it and we will be happier if we know that we are doing what he wants for each of us personally. What a great way to live.

How I live my faith

Read, Pray, Obey. I learn in church and classes on Sundays. I read from the scriptures and modern-day prophets. I pray to know if what I am learning is right. When this all feels right I obey and move forward. It's sometimes a difficult process with many ups and downs but God knows everything, and I mean EVERYTHING so if he'll answer, there's no doubt that it's the right answer. That's good enough for me. If God tells us to do something, it will only help us in the long run.
