Hi I'm Shane

I am 40 yrs old, sealed to my eternal companion for 7 years. I am going back to school to work in medical billing.

About Me

I just turned 40 in Jan. Having to go back to school to gain employment in the medial field. Because, I have had back surgery in 09 and not able to do work in the grocery business. Which I have done the past 15 years. As well as worked as an Emergency Medical Tech. Family and my faith are the two most important things in my life. Knowing that there is a God and having a sound understanding of His love for all of us, by sending is only begotten Son. In order to teach us His eternal plan of happiness and to watch as His Son suffer and die for all of us so that we can know the true and only way of returning back into His living arms. This testimony brings to my trouble heart peace, knowing that there is more to life than what we currently see and understand.

Why I am a Mormon

The world we live in now is so different than what it was just 10-15 years ago. However, with all the evil that is growing there is just as much if not even more positive things in our time. One just has to look to see the good that is growing in our communities. Being a Mormon is one of simplicity and truth. That which was done in past centuries is the same for our day regarding gospel doctrine. Just knowing that justice will not be robbed from those who seek it, and that mercy will be applied more often than judgement brings peace to my heart.

How I live my faith

When Heavenly Father asked his beloved Son to teach and provide a way for us all to return back into his presents, by obeying his laws and covenants. He also asked His Son to form a church so that we can learn by doing and serving our brothers and sisters. One of those ways is having us

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

For me the word grace is only available because of Jesus Christ. Knowing that Heavenly Father has a body of flesh and bone as well has His Son Jesus Christ. However the Holy Ghost does not have a body of flesh and bone as of yet. His spirit form looks just like how his body will be once he receives it. With that said judgement will be done by Heavenly Father and those who adhere to his commandments and follow in Jesus Christ footsteps will be numbered as part of Jesus Christ followers. When the Savior calls you his friend he will be your advocate when you are being judged by Heavenly Father and because he paid the price for our sins His grace will be applied and that is when mercy steps in by being forgiven of our trespasses.
