Hi I'm P. Esplin

I love being a Mormon.

About Me

My life is centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a wife and mother of six children and grandmother of 15 grandchildren. As a family we love the outdoors and being together. We especially like to go camping. We all spend a whole week each summer in the mountains and have a wonderful time. Families are important to me. My husband and I are serving as Church Humanitarian Missionaries in Nepal. What a beautiful country and we love the opportunity to serve and hope we are able to help those in this country by assisting in getting clean water for the villages, wheelchairs for the disabled and various other opportunities that come our way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My great grandparents joined the Church in England and came to Utah. I've always known the church is true. It has blessed my life in many ways. It gives me purpose and direction. I'm so grateful to know I have a heavenly Father who knows and loves me. I'm thankful for knowledge that I can pray to him and He hears and answers prayers. I've had so many prayers answered and can't imagine living my life without the knowledge that He is there.

How I live my faith

There's a song that is taught in Church to our little children. The name of it is "I'm Trying To Be Like Jesus". That's how I want to live my life. I want to try to be like Jesus in all that I do and say. It's not always easy and I often make mistakes but that is my goal.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

P. Esplin
We believe that we are literally God's children. He is our Father in heaven. Knowing I am a daughter of God makes all the difference. Why wouldn't I want to take care of my body. It is a temple and houses my spirit. When I die, my spirit will return to my Father who created me. By taking care of my body, I am showing love and respect to my heavenly Father. Show more Show less
