Hi I'm Landon

I like people and places. I'm a father of two. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently started graduate school and I'm enjoying the challenge of trying to do more in a day than there are hours to do it. No matter how busy school gets though, I always make time for my family--I don't want to miss hearing my little girl learn to talk! I enjoy taking my family on adventures, usually involving hiking, biking, or water.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to become a Mormon, not because I knew everything about what that meant, but because I knew it was the right thing to do. That's how it's been ever since--continuing to try to do the right thing. As you can imagine, despite my good intentions, I don't always do that. So, another reason I'm a Mormon is because when I do make mistakes and fall short of what I know I should be, I have a way to make repairs. My religion teaches me Who to turn to and how to access His help.

How I live my faith

I'm at a time in life where I'm making a lot of big decisions regarding family, education, and career. Before making a big decision I try to see it within the framework of my faith, asking how it fits with principles I know are true. I also believe that God is willing to provide me guidance and inspiration and so I try to include Him in the decision-making process through prayer.
