Hi I'm Katherine

I'm an accountant, swimmer, foodie, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a native New Englander, Texas Longhorn, and prospective San Franciscan! I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and have been practicing accounting for 3 years in Dallas. I love swimming, meeting new people, traveling with my husband, trying out new places to eat, cooking & baking, photography, and learning foreign languages!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that I am a daughter of God and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God.  I know that Jesus Christ established our Church and the organization of the Church today is designed by our Heavenly Father. I am also a Mormon because I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that through His sacrifice, I can be washed clean of my sins and become more like Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I believe with anyone who is willing to learn! The Church has so many amazing resources for us to come unto Christ, from YouTube videos to podcasts to articles by our Church leaders, and I love to share them. I also live my faith by being a devoted visiting teacher. Visiting teaching is a program in our Church's Women's organization where we get to know one another to better serve each other, and we do this through meeting with individual women monthly. I make sure I visit the women I'm assigned to every month and do all that I can do be a good friend.
