Hi I'm Sandra Rochelle

About Me

I am a hospice CNA, soon to be Phlebotomist. I am a mom of 4 children, and 8 grandchildren. I like volleyball, soccer, hockey, reading, writing, camping, swimming and horseback riding. I love being a Mormon, attending my Sunday meetings, service opportunities, and getting to know other people :)

Why I am a Mormon

I made the decision a long time ago to become a Mormon. I did this through studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and finally prayer. I took a look at other religions as well, and found that Mormonism for me made a lot of sense. It contains a plan of progression I did not find in other religions. It answered the question, " why am I here on earth? what is my purpose ". I have a testimony that the gospel is true because it contains peace, boundaries, love and grace. And most of all it speaks of my father in heaven and his son as being seperate people, with one purpose.

How I live my faith

A lot of the service work I do out in the community would be helping addicts and alcoholics with the recovery process. I am a visiting teacher, which I love :) and I am on the activities committee in my ward as well, which is a lot of fun! I work really hard everyday through prayer, speaking to the Lord to make sure I am living a life of love, committment, understanding of others, and letting those around me know that I love and am willing to help them. I also reach out and ask for help when needed. I feel that is very important. I really work on not walking in pride and judgement.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Sandra Rochelle
To learn all we can while here on earth, and to learn to love one another unconditionally. To take the knowledge we attain while here and use it to serve others, and to progress spiritually. To build families, friends and relationships that nurture and create an understanding of the love the Lord has for each and every one of us, and to learn to handle those blessings he gives us through obedience and willingness to follow his ways. Eventually we believe that through keeping the commandments, we will one day become as he is. Peaceful, willing, and full of grace. Show more Show less
