Hi I'm Clayton Lowell

I am a Mormon

About Me

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know who I am, I know Gods plan and I'll follow Him in Faith. I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ, I'll honor His name. I'll do what is right, with all of my might! His truth I will proclaim.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is what brings me true happiness in life. I am a Mormon because I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ and I know that this is where I need to be, or rather, who I need to be. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and each time gaining the witness of its truth. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he restored (or brought back) the exact same Gospel that or Savior Jesus Christ organized while He himself was on this earth. I am a Mormon because I KNOW that this is the only Religion that has the power to act in Gods name. I am a Mormon because I KNOW it is true.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be a friend to everyone. I take all opportunities to serve the people around me. Every night before I go to bed you will find me on my knees praying to my loving Heavenly Father then take time to study the scriptures to see what he has to say to me. I take time to teach others when I can about the Gospel I know to be true and it is up to them to allow it to effect their lives the way it has mine.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Clayton Lowell
I will tell you how I came to know our Father in Heaven. Growing up in the church I was always taught how to pray, but it wasn't until I got into High School that I truly gained a relationship with my Father in Heaven. I was going through a rough patch in my life and for several years I hadn't prayed or read my scriptures. One night I was super depressed and was feeling so alone and it was that sadness and depressed state that got me to my knees for the first time in years. I offered up a simple prayer asking my Heavenly Father if He loved me, and if so, what do I need to do to change my life. The feeling I got that instant was as clear as day and I KNOW it was my Father telling me he loved me and he lead me to the scriptures which answered my question. So if I were to answer that question I would say the best way to come to KNOW our Father in Heaven is to spend time talking with Him, and allow Him time to talk to you by reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible.
