Hi I'm Jonathan
I'm a Mormon - who loves life!
About Me
I like being around people because we are all unique and interesting in our own right. Naturally I find it fun to involve people while I am doing the things that I love. Some of the things I love to do are rock climbing, snow or skate boarding, hiking, scuba diving, swimming, reading, learning, laughing, camping, gardening, traveling and so on. Also, music plays a large role in my life. I love playing the guitar, drums, and the piano. Not at the same time, naturally. I am no rock star, but that's okay. I simply love listening to, playing or writing music. So, there you have it, Jonathan in a nutshell.
Why I am a Mormon
Both of my parents converted to Mormonism before I was born. They raised all six of us in the church. Although I was raised as a Mormon, I needed to know for myself, independent of my parents beliefs, if what I grew up learning was true. After years of sincere study, application of the teachings and prayer, I came to know for myself that this is where I belong. This is where God wants me to be.
How I live my faith
For me, it starts with learning more about who God is and what He expects of me. I do this through scripture study, prayer, and attending Church. I then put into action the teachings of Jesus Christ by applying them in all aspect of my life. Love and faith are at the heart of my service to the community and the ward (congregation) a belong to. I have currently be called to serve as a teach for the church. It is a passion of mine to share the teachings of Jesus Christ. I learn so much as prepare for the lessons.
