Hi I'm a Mormon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, one of my greatest hobbies is I enjoy writing children's notebook style books. I write these books for my three grandsons. I spoiled my grandsons this last Christmas as I gave them hardbound books. I also write ebooks and I publish them on the Internet and people who are online are reading them. In addition, I love to read a number of books from different types of genres. I am serving a service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day at a local family history center. At the center, I assist many patrons to find their ancestors who have died. There are also many wonderful people who are not of our faith who visit and work in our centers - including the largest family history center in the world, which is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. An important work for our kindred dead takes place in Holy temples which are located around the world. Maybe you have seen one of these temples. I will add more about me later. Now please read on about why I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (commonly known as Mormons) when I was eight years old. At the time, I was naive to what it meant for me to take be baptized in Christ's name and to covenant to keep his commandments. Then later as a grown up, I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and through consistent prayer my Heavenly Father answered any questions I asked him concerning their teachings. By faith, the Holy Ghost touched my spirit and I discovered Jesus was (is) my Savior and that I belonged to his true church. Today I study the Bible and the Book of Mormon daily. I have an extremely special place in my heart for the Holy Bible - especially as I read the Book of Isaiah. I also love to read the Book of Mormon - particularly since it is a "Another witness of Jesus Christ." Therefore, from my great reading experiences, I sincerely challange you to read both of these Holy books!

How I live my faith

Many Mormons volunteer at working at church jobs in which they do not receive any pay. I volunteer as one of leaders of the church I attend each Sunday and every Wednesday evening. I also have a great love of studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible on a daily basis. Both of these sacred books are witnesses of Jesus Christ and his teachings.
