Hi I'm Steven Donald

I'm a Mormon and I'm proud of it.

About Me

I'm a happy father of 4 sons married to my sweetheart of 8 years. I live in Arizona, which has to be one of the hottest places on earth, and I enjoy spending time with my family. I have lived in many different states in the US and for 7 years in Brazil. Someone once told me that once you live in two countries you'll never be happy. I attest to that as my heart is now split between the US and Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be and because I feel that God wants me to be. I have visited many different religions and I have prayed many times asking God to tell me which one was His religion. I have felt over and over God telling me that the Mormon church is where I should be. I feel different in the Mormon church than I do anywhere else. I feel His presence there. There are many good religions around the world with many, many good people in them. However, I believe that for all the good that they have in them, they do not have all of the truth. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being involved in the church. I have done a variety of different things, such as the follows: -Taught a marriage class to couples to help them strengthen their marriages -Worked with the missionaries to help those that are investigating the church feel comfortable and get answers to their questions -Served as a bishop of a congregation in Brazil for 3 years. -Worked with 11 year old boys and helped them in scouting In the end, living my faith is trying each day to serve God in heaven and those around.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Steven Donald
There are no restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join the Mormon Church. I have lived in both the US and Brazil and I have participated in the Mormon Church in both countries. In all of my participation in the church, I have always seen all people warmly accepted at the church. Show more Show less
