Hi I'm Ammon Fife

I analyze things, I start companies, I teach economics and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and a father, I attended school in the US and in Switzerland. I've started 3 companies, and currently work with a firm that consults some of the biggest and most well known companies in their marketing and social media strategies. I love spending time with my family, I enjoy solving problems, speaking and teaching, and still occasionally do a little computer programming.

Why I am a Mormon

Some time ago, I watched my second child come into the world. The next day while driving back to the hospital to see my wife and newborn son, I came across an accident on the highway, while trying to assist, I watched a small child depart from this life and enter onto the next. After leaving the scene and continuing my drive to the hospital my heart was filled with such a mix of emotions, my heart grieved for the child, for his family and those who loved him. Although I didn't know the child, I wept for him. But I was able to feel at peace because I know that death is not the end, and that I know that because of the Resurrection and Atonement of Jesus Christ, that little child will live on, and can be with his family forever. I love the peace that comes from truly knowing where we came from before this life, and what happens to us after we die. Not only does that knowledge give me peace, it anchors my perspective on the purpose of life, it grounds my opinions with truths, and it helps me see the bigger picture. Another reason why I'm a Mormon is because we have living modern Prophets and Apostles, just like there have always been. They stand as messengers of God in a day where there are so many varied voices and opinions.

How I live my faith

First and foremost, I'm a husband and a father, it's my responsibility to teach my family truth, and right from wrong. I work hard to provide for my family, this allows my children the blessing of having their mother home with them. In addition to this, I'm the president of the Sunday School in our local ward, I make sure that we have great teachers who love the Lord, and love His children, these classes are for everyone age 12-150. I also get the chance to teach pretty often myself. I live my faith every day as I make choices, what I think, what I do, how I treat my family and others. My goal is to become more like my Savior each and every day.
