Hi I'm Reghine

I'm a Mormon. I live in Cebu, Philippines.

About Me

I'm the only daughter of my parents and the eldest of my 2 brothers. I graduated the course Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. I love mingling with others, making new friends, and being a good and cheerful friend. Who loves purple? Oh, if you like purple, give me five! Plak! ~~, I love music. I sing (just right), I dance (even in the shower room...hehehe), I play guitar when I have free time (strumming there, plucking here...~~,), I love listening to R&Bs, love songs, pop songs, and most especially to church songs. I love playing the piano using chords. I'm an energetic person who loves games, activities, and adventures. I like playing table tennis and other sports I know.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm so much grateful of my parents because of them I become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in the Church. I learned many important things which are necessary for salvation which I don't learn outside the Church. The teachings in the Church help my life become better. The gospel in my life is my guide. I'm thankful that I received the fullness of the gospel which makes my life happy and beautiful amidst the adversities. I love the Church, its teachings and doctrines. God loves us so much. We are His children. Without the gospel in my life, I won't feel the true happiness which I'm experiencing now. Being a member of this Church isn't easy but I know I'm safe when I abide and keep the commandments of God. I bear witness that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church upon the face of the earth. That, God lives. That, Jesus Christ is the head of this Church.

How I live my faith

I'm a teacher in primary (8-11 class). I love teaching my class and let them understand how God loves them so much. It's a great feeling when I see them paying attention and participating in the discussions, when they can recall a previous lesson, when they apply the teachings of Jesus Christ in their lives. I want them to be prepared to face the challenges in their lives and withstand the temptations outside. So, I study the scriptures, I pray for them, and at the same time be a good example to them. I taught seminary class to youth ages 14-17. Teaching the seminary broaden my understanding and knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It made my testimony even stronger. Learning the gospel is a beautiful experience since you would know, understand, and feel how we are loved and blessed by God. I really like visiting teaching where I can share the gospel, encourage and strengthen members in the Church. It's a missionary work and I love missionary work. Someday I'll become a missionary. Participating in church activities helps increase my faith and testimony. Accepting callings is a great blessing. You won't just help the Church and other members but you are helping yourself as well. Magnifying my callings, extending my help to others help me build a firm foundation of my faith. Sharing my testimony is not just inspiring others but it's also building my testimony of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ upon a strong foundation wherein when storms of trials, problems and temptations come in my life, I can withstand and surpass them.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Reghine
Atonement of Jesus Christ is the greatest sacrifice He gave to us. It is when He saved us, mankind, from all our sins. Where He suffered much pain and agony because of our sins. When His blood came out of His every pore. If we will just imagine how painful it is to be wounded a little, how much more when blood came out of our every pore. Without His sacrifice, we will not be saved. Through the Atonement, the gift of repentance is given to us which gives us the chance to be clean and pure again. There is no unclean thing which can dwell in the Kingdom of God. Therefore, His atonement is necessary for our salvation. I know it is painful for God to see His Son suffer like that. But, because of His Great Love to us that He wants us to be with Him someday, He send His Son Jesus Christ to sacrifice for us. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us so much. I'm so much thankful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. This I humbly share in Jesus' name. Amen. Show more Show less
