Hi I'm B. Morris
I grew up in B E A utiful Camarillo California. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I was born and raised in California. I have always loved learning and participating in sports. I am very simple and I believe little things can have great effects. I try to treat each day as a new year, making resolutions to be better.
Why I am a Mormon
While I was born a Mormon, the decision to stay a Mormon has always been my choice. I was raised in a Mormon home with many Mormon relatives. They were all a great support to me. There came a day when I came to a point where I could no longer rely on the testimonies of those around me. I was in my late teens and I decided that I had to learn for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the true church of God. I had previously received a witness that there was a God and that He answers prayers. I did as I had been told. I took the Book of Mormon and read it. I neither received a visitation of angels nor heard an audible voice, but I felt within me that the book was true and that was enough for me. I have since spent the last few years expanding my knowledge of the gospel and I grow daily in faith as I follow the teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I have accepted the truth and I do not fear what man can do as long as I follow my Savior.
How I live my faith
I find solace in the simple truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray for help in all things and at all times. I am not afraid to be different as I stand for what is right, even when it may not be accepted by my peers. Regular church attendance and obedience to all the commandments lead my life. I search the scriptures and the words of all of God's prophets to gain wisdom and avoid sin and pain. I live my faith by sharing it. I feel my knowledge of God and His plan is the greatest gift I have received thus far and I desire that all come to learn of this great gift. I make sacrifices to aid in the building up of God's kingdom and I can see the blessings He gives me. I exercise my faith to see miracles-not ask for miracles to gain faith. I find that while I do not always have what I want, I always have what I need. I use what I have to aid others. I feel service is an act of giving, but often I find I get so much more in return. I search to see God's hand in my life. I find that if I take the time I cannot count all the blessing He has given me.
