Hi I'm Jenni

I'm the youngest of nine children. I hate cilantro. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California and I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. I am married and have a young daughter. I am a certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach, but I'm not currently working so I can stay home with my daughter. I love to travel and learn about history and I love Mac 'n' Cheese! My family is one of the most important things in my life and the thing that brings me the greatest happiness. I love spending time with them and find that I'm happiest when I'm with them.

Why I am a Mormon

In our church, we teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught it when He was here upon the earth. Our church organization is set up just how Christ set the church up in ancient days. By following the principles of the gospel as taught in our church, I have been able to experience great joy and happiness in my life, even in the face of difficult times and circumstances. I know that by following the teachings of Jesus Christ and accepting His Gospel, I can someday live in the presence of my Heavenly Father again and have the greatest happiness and peace possible.

How I live my faith

Attending church each week is very important to me. There, I learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. But, it's also important for me to try to follow the Savior the other six days of the week. So, I try to take what I learn at church and apply it into my daily life. I try to do things each day which will help me to have the Lord's Spirit with me. By learning more about the Gospel and applying its principles and teachings into my life, it makes me a better person and a better disciple of Jesus Christ.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

I do believe that we currently have a living prophet just like Moses. And I think this is something that makes us different from a lot of other churches. The Lord has always called prophets to lead His church as long as it is found upon the earth. Since he is the same God, yesterday, today, and forever, there is no reason for this to change. We still need the guidance of someone who speaks directly with God, probably more than we ever have before. How comforting to know that there is someone on the earth today who can tell us what our Heavenly Father wants us to know. Show more Show less
